Swastisha Mukherjee
Swastisha Mukherjee has pursued her postgraduation in English from Jadavpur University. She has also pursued a postgraduate degree in Media Studies and was employed as a Visiting Faculty at Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology, Department of Media Science. She taught Journalism, Mass Communication, Visual Language (Theory). She is also a writer. Her works have been published in diverse anthologies including Prosopisia: The International Journal on Poetry and Creative Writing, Minority Voices: An Anthology of Asian-American Poetry in Bengali Translation, The Dawn Beyond Waste, an initiative of the Microsoft Sponsored Create to Inspire Fellowship. She is presently working on her PhD application. Her research interests include Critical Race studies, decolonial studies. She had written a paper Narrating Africa and its diasporas, as an assessment for the course on Diaspora Studies.
