
Marcel den Dikken
Marcel den Dikken holds a dual affiliation with the Hungarian Research Centre for Linguistics in Budapest (Hungary) and the Centre of Linguistics of the University of Lisbon (Portugal). He is the editor of The Cambridge Handbook of Generative Syntax (2013), the (co-)editor of several volumes and special issues of journals, the author of four monographs (Particles (OUP); The structure of the noun phrase in Rotuman (LINCOM Europa); Relators and linkers (MIT Press); Dependency and directionality (CUP)), and co-author of Syntax of Dutch: Nouns and noun phrases (Vol. 2; 2012). He has published over 100 articles in peer-reviewed journals and edited volumes and encyclopedias, and serves on the editorial boards of more than a dozen international journals. His research covers a wide variety of aspects of syntax and its interfaces with morphology and semantics.
