Adam Szczegielniak
Adam Szczegielniak is a Collaborator on a Social Sciences and Humanities Research Council of Canada's Insight Grant entitled "Grammatical vs semantic features: the semantics-morphology mapping, and its consequences for syntax.", PI, Ivona Kučerová, McMaster University. He investigates linguistic structures in various languages including: English, Polish, Russian, Slovak, Spanish, Czech, Italian, German. His research focus is theoretical linguistics - his current research concentrates on the licensing of nominal gender agreement (in collaboration with Ivona Kučerová), multiple remnant ellipsis, relative clause structure. In the past, he has lectured and participated in research projects at Harvard and MIT on Aphasia, especially Agrammatic Disorders, Sentence Processing and Language Acquisition.
