A Saturday Night at the Movies double bill. Featuring “An Empirical Queer Theory” and "Masquerades of Research” with filmmaker Padraig Robinson. (For some of us, this may be a matinee, and for others a midnight special!)
Join us for our second film event of the season. Robinson is a Berlin-based visual artist from Ireland, who works in the areas of film and writing. His films address (among other things) issues of consent, healing, queerness, the mandates and limits of academic research, activism, and art itself. Robinson has graciously agreed to attend the screening, and to answer questions from the audience afterward.
